Salary Range (INR):₹18,00,000 – ₹50,00,000 per annum (based on seniority, specialization, and hospital category)

Education:

MBBS + MD / DNB in Anesthesiology (Mandatory)

DA (Diploma in Anesthesia) – acceptable for junior roles

Valid registration with Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council

Certifications in BLS / ACLS / PALS / ATLS (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients preoperatively and determine appropriate anesthesia plans

Administer general, regional, local, or sedation anesthesia as needed

Monitor patients during surgery for vitals, consciousness, and anesthesia depth

Manage pain control, ventilatory support, and hemodynamic stability

Handle anesthesia-related emergencies and resuscitation as required

Maintain detailed documentation of patient response and drugs administered

Collaborate with surgeons, critical care teams, and post-op units for continuum of care

Supervise junior anesthetists and assist in training residents and OT staff
