Education & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Diploma / Certification in Bartending, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage Service preferred
TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) or other responsible alcohol service certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Interact with guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences
Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately through the POS system
Stock and replenish bar inventory while keeping track of usage and wastage
Create signature cocktails and contribute to the development of seasonal drink menus
Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and local liquor laws
Work collaboratively with restaurant and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, spirits, and beverage service
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local liquor regulations
Proficiency in using bar equipment and POS systems
Creativity in crafting unique and visually appealing drinks
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to handle high-pressure situations
