Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Preferred institutes: NID, IIT-IDC, RCA, Art Center, CCS
Manufacturing Location: Pune / Chennai / Sanand / Manesar
Industry Type: Automobile / Automotive OEM / Vehicle Design & Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
Develop 3D CAD models and detailed designs for vehicle components (interior/exterior)
Collaborate with senior designers and engineers on styling and engineering solutions
Support prototype development and design validation
Use design software for rendering, surfacing, and technical drawings
Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements
Ensure designs meet manufacturing feasibility and quality standards
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in CATIA, Alias, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
Strong sketching and visualization skills
Basic knowledge of automotive design and manufacturing processes
Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability
Good teamwork and communication skills
