Role: HR Generalist

Salary Range (INR): ₹3,50,000 – ₹6,50,000 per annum

Education:

Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree with specialization in HR / MBA or PGDM in Human Resources

Preferred: Short-term certifications in Payroll, Compliance, or HR Operations

Manufacturing Locations:

Morbi (Gujarat), Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Sriperumbudur (Tamil Nadu), or regional corporate offices

Role Objective:

The HR Generalist supports the human resource department in various administrative and operational duties including onboarding, attendance, documentation, statutory compliance, and basic employee engagement activities.


Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate onboarding, induction, and joining formalities

Maintain employee records and update HRIS or spreadsheets regularly

Support payroll input collation, leave and attendance tracking

Assist with contract labor documentation and record-keeping

Help organize employee welfare and engagement events

Assist with statutory compliance records (PF, ESI, labor acts)

Respond to routine employee queries and escalate issues when needed

Coordinate logistics for training programs or HR workshops

Prepare and share weekly HR MIS or headcount reports

Liaise with admin, finance, and external vendors as necessary

Required Skills:

Knowledge of basic HR functions and documentation

Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google Sheets

Attention to detail and basic understanding of labor laws

Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with HR software (SAP HR, Zoho People, GreytHR)

Exposure to plant or industrial HR practices

Basic understanding of compliance checklists and filing processes
