Education:

B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Cement Technology / Material Science

Certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are preferred

Technical Skills:

In-depth understanding of cement manufacturing processes and cement chemistry

Knowledge of quality standards such as BIS, ASTM, EN, ISO 9001

Hands-on experience with lab equipment (XRF, XRD, SEM, Autoclave, Blaine, etc.)

Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis tools

Soft & Managerial Skills:

Team management and leadership abilities

Strong communication and reporting skills

Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Inter-departmental coordination and project execution

Role Responsibilities:

Manage the Quality Assurance function for the cement plant

Ensure quality control at all stages—raw materials, in-process, and final product

Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO/BIS quality systems

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain quality KPIs

Guide the laboratory team for routine and special testing

Collaborate with production, process, and R&D teams to ensure product consistency

Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Train plant staff on quality-related standards, processes, and tools
