Salary Range (INR): ₹2,40,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and hospital size)

🎓 Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Healthcare Administration / Life Sciences (Mandatory)

Certification in Medical Billing / Medical Coding / RCM (Preferred)

Familiarity with hospital billing software, ICD-10, CPT codes, and insurance processes is an advantage

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Generate accurate patient bills based on medical records, procedures, investigations, and treatments

Post charges for outpatient, inpatient, day care, and emergency services in billing software

Submit claims to insurance companies/TPAs and ensure timely follow-up for approvals and settlements

Review documentation for coding accuracy and billing compliance

Resolve discrepancies in billing, insurance denials, and patient queries

Coordinate with clinical departments, front office, and insurance desks for real-time updates

Assist with pre-authorization and cost estimates for patients

Maintain billing records and update entries in HIS/ERP systems

Support finance and audit teams with billing reports and documentation for NABH/JCI audits

Ensure confidentiality of patient and financial data
