Experience Range: 2 to 8 Years (Experience in MRI diagnostics in hospital or diagnostic centers preferred)

Salary Range (INR): ₹2,50,000 – ₹6,50,000 per annum (depending on experience, center specialization, and location)

Education:

Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology (Mandatory)

Specialized MRI Training / Certification from a recognized institution (Mandatory)

AERB Registration (Preferred if operating MRI with contrast or radiation exposure)

Familiarity with PACS / RIS systems

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively to capture diagnostic images

Prepare and position patients correctly while explaining procedures clearly

Monitor patients during scanning for any distress or movement that may affect imaging quality

Conduct MRI scans for various body systems including brain, spine, joints, and soft tissues

Administer contrast media under supervision and follow safety protocols

Ensure MRI safety for all staff and patients (screening for metal, pacemakers, implants)

Maintain records, upload images to PACS, and assist radiologists with scan details

Handle equipment troubleshooting, maintenance reporting, and cleanliness

Key Skills:

MRI Machine Operation (1.5T/3T)

Patient Positioning & Scan Protocols

Contrast Media Handling (as per physician orders)

MRI Safety Protocols & Screening

Anatomy & Cross-sectional Imaging Knowledge

PACS/RIS Software Use

Communication & Patient Comfort

Troubleshooting & Maintenance Coordination

Infection Control Practices

Compliance with NABH / AERB Standards
