Salary Range (INR): ₹10,00,000 – ₹25,00,000 per annum (based on hospital size, role complexity, and location)
Education:
B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
M.Sc. Nursing with specialization in Anesthesia / Critical Care Nursing (Mandatory)
Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist from a recognized institution (India or abroad)
Registered with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council
BLS / ACLS / PALS certification (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia under the direction of anesthesiologists or independently (as permitted)
Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and educate patients on anesthesia procedures
Monitor patients intraoperatively and post-operatively for vitals, airway, and pain levels
Manage anesthetic equipment and ensure drug calculations are accurate
Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and critical care teams for smooth OR operations
Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and assist with advanced life support
Maintain documentation and uphold safety and infection control protocols
