Experience Range: 10 to 18 Years (Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing hospital dietary operations)

Salary Range (INR):₹8,00,000 – ₹22,00,000 per annum (based on hospital size, city tier, and accreditations)

Education:

Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or Food Service Management (Mandatory)

Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian credential (Preferred)

Certification in Food Safety / HACCP / Hospital Food Service Management is an advantage

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the hospital’s Nutrition and Dietary department across inpatients, outpatients, and clinical services

Develop and monitor individualized nutrition care plans in collaboration with physicians and clinical teams

Oversee menu planning for various patient categories (therapeutic, pediatric, ICU, geriatric, etc.)

Ensure food quality, hygiene, safety standards, and compliance with NABH/JCI/FSSAI regulations

Supervise food production and distribution processes, including dietary kitchen operations

Recruit, train, and manage the performance of dietitians, nutritionists, and kitchen staff

Conduct audits, nutritional assessments, and patient satisfaction surveys

Participate in hospital committees on infection control, quality, and clinical care

Design and deliver education programs for patients, caregivers, and staff

Maintain departmental budgets, procurement, and inventory for dietary supplies
