Salary Range (INR): ₹2,20,000 – ₹5,50,000 per annum (depending on experience, communication skills, and hospital size)
🎓 Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work / Hospital Administration / Psychology / Nursing / Public Health (Mandatory)
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Healthcare Administration (Preferred)
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between patients, families, and hospital departments to address concerns, complaints, and service issues
Educate patients about their rights, responsibilities, hospital policies, and available resources
Assist patients in navigating hospital systems — billing, consent, discharge, clinical queries, and feedback
Facilitate prompt resolution of patient grievances and escalate complex cases to the Patient Services Director
Provide emotional support, especially in high-stress departments like ICU, emergency, and oncology
Document all complaints, inquiries, and interventions, and maintain confidentiality and compliance
Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and collect feedback for continuous improvement
Advocate for vulnerable populations including elderly, disabled, non-native speakers, or those with financial constraints
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth care experiences
Participate in quality audits, service improvement initiatives, and training programs
