Salary Range (INR): ₹1,80,000 – ₹4,20,000 per annum (based on skill level, certifications, and city tier)
🎓 Education:
ITI / Diploma in Plumbing / Sanitary Engineering / Civil Maintenance (Mandatory)
On-the-job training or apprenticeship in large buildings or hospitals is an advantage
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain all plumbing systems including pipelines, sanitary fixtures, water supply lines, drainage, and medical gas lines
Ensure uninterrupted water flow and proper drainage in patient rooms, operation theatres, ICUs, and laboratories
Respond to plumbing emergencies such as blockages, leaks, burst pipes, and faulty fittings
Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of water storage tanks, pumps, valves, and pipelines
Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities
Support installation of water heaters, sterilizers, RO systems, and clinical plumbing systems
Ensure all plumbing works follow hospital safety, infection control, and compliance standards (NABH/JCI)
Coordinate with other maintenance technicians and supervisors for task assignments
Assist in maintaining wastewater treatment systems, sump pumps, and rainwater harvesting setups
Use appropriate tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) for safe operations
