Experience Range: 2 to 8 Years (PACU, ICU, or surgical nursing experience preferred)

Salary Range (INR): ₹3,50,000 – ₹7,50,000 per annum (depending on experience, location, and hospital level)

Education:

Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)

M.Sc. Nursing in Critical Care / Anesthesia & OT Nursing (Preferred)

Registered with Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council (Mandatory)

Certification in BLS / ACLS / PALS (Preferred for critical care units)

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia post-surgery

Assess airway, breathing, circulation, level of consciousness, and pain levels

Administer post-operative medications, fluids, and oxygen as per orders

Recognize signs of complications (e.g., respiratory distress, bleeding, hypotension) and act immediately

Communicate patient status to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments and interventions

Provide emotional support to patients regaining consciousness

Ensure infection control and cleanliness in the PACU environment
