Job Summary:

The Senior Manager (Marketing Communications) will play a critical role in developing and executing the marketing communication strategies that enhance the brand’s visibility, positioning, and messaging in the sanitaryware industry. The role requires a creative yet strategic mindset to lead both internal and external communications efforts, ensuring alignment with the business’s objectives and enhancing brand presence across digital and traditional platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Communication Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication strategies that support brand growth, market penetration, and lead generation in alignment with company objectives.

Brand Messaging & Positioning: Ensure consistent and clear communication of the brand’s message, values, and product benefits across all channels, maintaining alignment with the company’s overall strategy.

Media Relations & PR Management: Oversee media relations, develop press materials, and manage public relations campaigns to increase positive media coverage and public perception.

Content Strategy & Creation: Lead the creation and distribution of content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials.

Digital Marketing Communications: Collaborate with the digital team to create and execute online campaigns, ensuring content resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.

Internal Communications: Develop communication strategies that ensure alignment within the organization, providing employees with the necessary information and updates on key business initiatives.

Crisis Management & Communication: Lead the development and execution of crisis communication strategies, ensuring that the company’s reputation is protected during challenging situations.

Marketing Collateral: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, product sheets, case studies, and videos that support both sales and marketing efforts.

Trade Shows & Events: Coordinate and manage participation in trade shows, conferences, and industry events, ensuring that the company’s presence is impactful and aligned with overall marketing goals.

Brand Advocacy & Ambassador Program: Build relationships with brand advocates, influencers, and external partners to enhance credibility and expand reach.

Collaboration with Sales & Product Teams: Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure marketing communication strategies align with product launches, campaigns, and sales objectives.

Budget Management: Oversee the marketing communications budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to various campaigns and initiatives.

Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on performance metrics.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience in Marketing Communications, brand management, and public relations within the Sanitaryware, Building Materials, or Consumer Durables industries.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to create engaging content and manage external communications.

Solid understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and social media strategies.

Strong media relations experience, including managing media inquiries, securing press coverage, and developing press releases.

Ability to create and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, print, social media, and events).

Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute complex marketing initiatives.

Proficiency in marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media metrics, and SEO.

Strong team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior members in the team.

Creative mindset, with an understanding of the latest trends in marketing communications and how to adapt them for business needs.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with global brands or managing international marketing communication efforts.

Familiarity with consumer research tools and insight-driven marketing.

Knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing communications, particularly in industrial or building materials sectors.

Experience in event management, including planning and executing large-scale events or trade shows.

Exposure to brand advocacy programs and managing relationships with influencers or external ambassadors.

Brand Awareness: Growth in brand recognition and positive media mentions.

Campaign Engagement: Increase in engagement metrics across digital channels (social media, website traffic, etc.).

Lead Generation: Impact of marketing communication on qualified leads and conversions.

Media Coverage: Quantity and quality of media coverage received for press releases, events, and product launches.

Event Success: Successful execution of marketing events and trade shows, with measurable impact on brand visibility.
