Job Summary:
The Senior Manager – Product is responsible for the end-to-end management of the product portfolio, including market research, product development, lifecycle management, and go-to-market (GTM) execution in the sanitaryware industry. The role focuses on building and managing a competitive, innovative, and customer-aligned product lineup that drives market share and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full product lifecycle – concept, development, launch, enhancement, and phase-out.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify product gaps and innovation opportunities.
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and design teams for new product development.
Define product positioning, pricing, and packaging strategies aligned with brand goals.
Work with sales and marketing teams for GTM planning and sales enablement tools.
Monitor product performance metrics and drive portfolio optimization.
Lead customer and influencer feedback programs to enhance user experience and design relevance.
Forecast demand and support supply chain and production planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and influencers.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong product management background with technical and marketing synergy.
Deep understanding of Sanitaryware / Ceramics / Building Materials products and market trends.
Expertise in product positioning, value engineering, and market segmentation.
Excellent cross-functional coordination and project management skills.
Strong analytical and presentation capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with SAP, PLM tools, and product costing.
Ability to interpret customer insights and translate them into product features.
Exposure to international product standards and certifications.
Experience in both B2C and B2B product environments.
