Job Summary:

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to assist in strategic decision-making. This role supports the Sales & Marketing teams in understanding market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity, specifically in the sanitaryware industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze market data related to customer preferences, competitor strategies, and market trends.

Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gain qualitative insights.

Analyze and interpret sales data, customer feedback, and external market reports.

Prepare regular reports and presentations with actionable insights and recommendations for the Sales and Marketing teams.

Monitor competitor activities and report on changes in the competitive landscape.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer satisfaction metrics.

Support product development and marketing strategy by providing data-driven insights.

Collaborate with internal teams to define research objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.

Help optimize the pricing and positioning of products based on research findings.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Google Analytics, etc.).

Knowledge of market research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.

Familiarity with survey design, data collection, and report preparation.

Strong understanding of market segmentation and customer behavior analysis.

Good communication and presentation skills to convey complex data in an easy-to-understand manner.

Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for report generation and presentations.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the Sanitaryware / Ceramics / Building Materials industry.

Familiarity with market research tools like Nielsen, Kantar, or Qualtrics.

Exposure to CRM and ERP systems for data extraction and analysis.

Understanding of digital marketing metrics (website analytics, social media performance, etc.).
