Job Summary:
The Senior Manager – Product will take on a leadership role in managing and developing the product portfolio. This includes driving product strategy, overseeing the lifecycle of multiple products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with market needs, business objectives, and innovation goals in the Sanitaryware industry. The role is focused on building competitive, customer-centric product lines that drive business growth and brand differentiation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the product portfolio, including product innovation, pricing, positioning, and lifecycle management.
Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify product trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Develop and implement product strategies in line with business and market objectives.
Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to ensure successful product development and manufacturing.
Create and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, ensuring effective launches and marketing communications.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption, customer acquisition, and retention.
Monitor product performance metrics, including sales trends, profitability, and customer feedback, to optimize product offerings.
Lead the development of sales tools, training programs, and marketing materials to enable channel and sales teams.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, external agencies, and third-party vendors.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong product management experience in sanitaryware, building materials, or consumer durables.
Proven track record in product lifecycle management, from concept to end-of-life.
Expertise in product pricing, positioning, and competitive analysis.
Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office, PLM tools, and CRM systems (Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, and trend forecasting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience managing international product launches and global product strategies.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain coordination in the sanitaryware industry.
Familiarity with digital product strategies, e-commerce channels, and online marketing techniques.
Ability to translate technical product details into clear consumer-facing messaging.
