Experience Range:

5 to 10 years in stewarding operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role

Salary Range (INR):

₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and hotel tier)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Manager – Stewarding to lead all stewarding functions including sanitation, cleanliness, kitchen support operations, and inventory management. The candidate will oversee a large stewarding team and ensure compliance with hygiene standards, cost control, and inter-departmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day stewarding operations and team performance across all outlets

Implement and enforce hygiene and safety standards per FSSAI and hotel policies

Coordinate with Executive Chef and F&B Manager for smooth kitchen and service operations

Monitor cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and storage zones

Conduct training sessions for stewards on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and safety

Manage stewarding budgets, costs, and requisition of cleaning materials

Prepare rosters, performance reviews, and task allocation for stewarding team

Maintain and audit cleaning logs, maintenance reports, and hygiene checklists

Liaise with engineering and housekeeping for upkeep of stewarding equipment

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum: Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management or related field

Skills Required:

Leadership and team management

Excellent knowledge of kitchen sanitation and HACCP guidelines

Inventory and cost management

Strong coordination with culinary and F&B service teams

Ability to handle audits and inspections confidently

Training and performance coaching capabilities

Proficiency in using stewarding equipment and cleaning solutions

Organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Industry Background:

4-star and 5-star hotels, International Hotel Chains, Luxury Resorts, Cruise Lines
