Role Objective:

The Sr. Manager (Warehouse) is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations to ensure efficient inbound and outbound movement, inventory accuracy, safety, and team performance across one or more warehouses supporting production and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch

Supervise inventory management and stock audits to minimize variances

Implement and optimize WMS/ERP (SAP or equivalent) systems and processes

Ensure timely material movement to production and finished goods dispatch to customers

Manage and coach a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and coordinators

Ensure adherence to safety norms, 5S standards, and legal compliances

Prepare and analyze reports for inventory levels, space utilization, and stock movements

Coordinate with transporters, 3PLs, production, and planning teams

Monitor KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), order accuracy, and warehouse productivity

Plan for warehouse capacity and layout improvements

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics coordination

Experience with WMS and ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Good understanding of inventory control practices and cycle counting

Leadership and people management skills

Ability to handle high-volume warehouse environments

Preferred Skills:

Industry exposure to Sanitaryware / Ceramics / Consumer Durables / Building Materials

Certifications in warehouse safety, Six Sigma, or lean operations

Familiarity with automation tools, barcode/RFID systems
