Experience Range:
8 to 12 years of experience in design engineering, layout planning, and execution within the cement or manufacturing industry.
Salary Range (INR):
₹18 LPA – ₹22 LPA, based on experience, skills in design execution, and project management.
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
M.Tech or Diploma in Design / Structural Engineering is preferred
Certification in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar design tools preferred
Key Skills:
Expertise in cement plant design, process flow, and plant layout
Design software proficiency (AutoCAD, STAAD, SolidWorks, Revit)
Understanding of process and utility systems in cement plants
Mechanical, structural, and electrical design integration
Preparation and review of drawings (concept, detail, and construction)
Knowledge of local and international design standards (IS, ASTM, etc.)
Excellent project management and coordination skills
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and design cost estimation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to mentor and manage junior engineers
Job Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of cement plant projects and equipment layouts
Create and review detailed design drawings for new and modification projects
Coordinate with process engineers and project teams for seamless design integration
Review engineering specifications, process requirements, and technical documentation
Manage design deliverables, ensuring timely submission and quality standards
Interface with vendors, contractors, and external consultants for design approvals
Supervise and mentor junior design engineers, providing guidance and feedback
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations
Prepare and manage design budgets, tracking costs and adjusting as necessary
Conduct design reviews and audits to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
